At Proofile, we recognize that protecting the privacy of the users is important. All the information you provide can be protected using the respective privacy settings.
Information you provide
You have total control over your data, you can delete anything that you have entered, and it will be removed completely from Proofile. We cannot however guarantee that it has not been copied by third parties, once you have made it available.
We will not use or sell the entered information, it is only used for the purposes for which it was collected for: your user profile, machine readable data formats and interfaces. You will not receive any emails other than the ones you requested for purposes of email verification, password resetting or messaging (if you enable this feature).
Indirect information
Our servers will log and save some traffic information automatically, this data may be used for analysis. A cookie will be saved in order to keep you logged in, only containing your username and an encrypted and hashed version of your password
Information security
We take appropriate measures against unauthorized access to your information. All passwords are saved in an encrypted form, they cannot be reconstructed or recovered.
